As a parent, you would certainly want to include healthy meals for your baby. But feeding a child is a tough task. As babies are accustomed to milk after birth they don’t want to eat solid foods abruptly. You have to wait around six months to start solids for your baby. Finally, when you decide to provide solid food, you should keep in mind the taste of the meal as well as its nutritional values. Here are a few tasty food items you can try making for your baby.

Vegetable soup

Vegetable soup is a very nutritious meal for the babies. It is easy to make and children are generally fond of it. You can cook vegetable soup with carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, beans, or cauliflowers. To make it tastier, you can add slightly roasted cumin. Hotchpotch

Hotchpotch is another very delicious and useful food for your toddler. It is a mixture of rice and lentils and can be made easily. You can add varieties of vegetables and chicken with it. Hotchpotch is a very balanced diet consisting of protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins of vegetables. It is basically very easy to cook. Just mix rice and lentils in a pan and wash it. Then you have to add vegetables, salt, turmeric with it, and boil in a pressure cooker or pan. Turmeric can be beneficial for babies as it has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties that can boost the immunity of the children. Chicken is enriched with protein and it’s iron content aids the production of red blood cells in the body.

Fruit puree

Fruit puree can be very delicious and nutritious food for toddlers. Sometimes children might not want to eat specific types of fruits. You can mix all of the fruits like banana, pear, mango, strawberry, date and can make puree out of it. Apple and pear can be slightly boiled while other fruits can be mashed in a blender to make puree. Fruits have all types of vitamins so this can be a regular meal for your toddler.

Chicken soup

Baby Chicken soup can be another delicious food for your toddler. Chicken protein is important for the development of your toddler’s body and bone. Moreover, chicken is important for the development of their brain and their blood circulation. So you can add chicken soup to your baby’s meal plan for at least three days a week. For your toddler, minimize the level of spice in the soup. Just a little piece of garlic, a small amount of turmeric, cumin, and salt should suffice. Fry the chicken with these just a little bit and then boil it with water. This can be a deliciously healthy soup for your toddler.

Egg pudding

Egg pudding is something that can be a favorite food for all ages of people. Your toddler might like it too. Egg pudding has egg, milk, and sugar which provide the necessary protein for your baby. Sometimes your toddler may not want to take milk or egg directly. Pudding can be a good alternative to feed eggs and milk.
